The only blister/bandage pics I'll post-promise...unless something truly spectacular and gross presents itself--like gas-gangrene(hope not!)

Imagine yourself in a place between space...and time...now imagine yourself with lots of blisters, now imagine yourself taking between (approximately) 35,200 and 52,800 steps 5-6 days a week for 10-14 hours a day (roughly 20 to 30 miles/day). It's dusty, sometimes snowy and rainy, you get sand, plant matter, pebbles in your shoes--rubbing against those feet. Your feet are sweating and hot from the hot ground, sun, and constant pounding. Now add a 40 pound pack on your back. This is part of a picture of the daily life of a thru-hiker.
