SMOG!

Amazing, way up here in the San Gabriel Mtns, there is smog wreathed around the range from the poison of the LA metro area...the disease of the city isn't confined to the gigaplex. Sad to see it----so disgusting actually. Makes me think of when Grandma and Mom were in LA for an RT conference back in the day (mid 70's) and Grandma had a bad reaction to the smog...supposedly it's not as bad these days, but I'll say, it looks like smoke down in there---can't even see the city. Evidently, there are pines and white fir in the Western part of the range that are dying from the acid rain produced by the smog.
